I would have loved the human heroine who patrols the grounds and night, making sure the vampires are in line, except.Yuki was TOTALLY lame. So, without further ado, here are all the voices you recognized (and maybe even some that you didn't) in Netflix's Masters of the Universe: Revelations.Some aspects of the setup I liked, like the school divided into day class human students and night class vampire students. But the dialogue is certainly elevated by Smith having picked a home run cast. The series has a number of twists and turns, with a blood-pumping score and exciting action to match. The show is set for a 10-episode run, only the first half of which have been released at this point. While the show is a little tricky-but not impossible-to follow for those who haven't seen the original cartoon, the excellent performances and perfect casting of the voice cast make the show a thrill to watch for the full duration of its run. There are even some old Kevin Smith friends who found natural roles within all the action and adventure of the series' plot. We're talking names from Star Wars, Game of Thrones, Buffy The Vampire Slayer and more. That mix includes a host of names that fans of the genre will certainly recognize from elsewhere. However, the animation is updated, and the voice cast is hand-picked with a mix of favorites. Filmmaker Kevin Smith (best known for his work on movies like Clerks, Mallrats, and Chasing Amy, but also a comic writer and podcaster and many other jobs) is back with a new Netflix series, Masters of the Universe: Revelation, which serves as a direct sequel to that original series. Fans of the original He-Man and the Masters of the Universe animated series (which aired 130 episodes between 19) are in for a treat.
